This page is for Audar by UnCognito on Mac and Windows, installed from the Mac App Store or the Microsoft Store.

1. Contact us

Email support@uncognito.ai. Please include:

• your platform: Mac or Windows;
• the Audar version, shown in the bottom-right corner of the Audar window (for example v2.0.26.0);
• what happened, and what you were doing when it happened.

2. Audar Base, Pro and Ultra

• Audar Base is free: One file and Live, for 2 hours of talking a week.
• Audar Pro (monthly or yearly) adds Many files and removes the weekly limit.
• Audar Ultra (monthly) adds the Forensic view and the full session history.

Pro and Ultra are subscriptions. Each starts with a 1-week free trial. You are not charged during the trial. When the trial ends, the subscription renews at the paid price unless you cancel it before the trial ends. Prices are shown in the Mac App Store and the Microsoft Store.

3. Mac (Mac App Store)

• Manage or cancel: open System Settings → your name (Apple Account) → Media & Purchases → Subscriptions. Or open the App Store → your account → Subscriptions.
• Cancel at least 24 hours before the free trial or the current period ends.
• Switch between Pro and Ultra on the same Subscriptions page.
• Restore a purchase: in Audar, choose Audar → Restore Purchases.

4. Windows (Microsoft Store)

• Manage or cancel: go to account.microsoft.com → Services & subscriptions.
• Change plans: cancel your current subscription first, then subscribe to the other one. If you do not cancel first, both subscriptions are billed.
• There is one free trial per subscription.

5. Refunds

Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple or Microsoft, so refunds are handled by them. UnCognito cannot issue store refunds.

6. Privacy

Audar analyzes audio on your computer. The audio is not sent to UnCognito or anyone else. See Privacy Notice, Section 7.

7. System requirements

• Mac: macOS 13 Ventura or later, Apple silicon or Intel. Live needs macOS 14.2 or later; on older versions One file and Many files still work.
• Windows: Windows 10 or Windows 11, x64 or ARM64.
